To maintain quality, we monitored several factors daily, including, water pH, growing room temperature, and crop yield; any deviations from our expected norms required prompt investigation and correction, a small error could lead to poor yields or the presence of mould, rendering the crop unusable and necessitating the use of a much more expensive alternative feed.
